Legal Advocacy

Our bilingual and fully trained advocates accompany clients in Family and Criminal Court cases. They are with you throughout the legal process, from filing paperwork until the final outcome. If you are not sure what steps you want to take, you can speak with one of our advocates confidentially for more information.

Case management

To assist with the myriad other issues that arise when one is seeking safety from abuse, our case managers are there to help you with such needs as applying for public assistance, crime victims compensation and more.

Lawyer Referrals

Often, the courts are used by the abuser to further control a survivor who has little to no resources to pay for a lawyer. HARLI will help defray the cost of experienced, trauma trained legal representation for your Family and Criminal cases.

Counseling referrals

HARLI will help defray the cost of seeking private counseling from experienced private practitioners trained in trauma informed care.

housing assistance

HARLI will provide financial assistance for those seeking to leave an abusive household, by offering hotel vouchers
and/or funds to assist with covering the costs
associated with moving into a new rental.
